Tottenham Hotspur are the only team to have not lost any of the four games played in group H. The unbeaten run has thus helped them lead the group. Now that they have already guaranteed their place in the next round, the focus is to finish first. As for Borussia Dortmund, much of their fate will broil to Real Madrid’s fixture against APOEL.
Spurs beat Real Madrid in a historic result for the club in their previous European encounter. The English side  were in quite a good streak until they tasted a bitter defeat against Arsenal the prior weekend.
Meanwhile, in his pre match conference, Mauricio Pochettino was hopeful for his side to bounce back in Germany against an out of form Dortmund.
The Argentine said: “It’s always important to compete and to be focused on the next game and when you lose, it’s important to play as soon as possible to change that feeling.”
On the other hand, the problems continue to pile up for Peter Bosz and his side who have faltered after a blistering start to the season.
Their Champions League campaign is no longer in their own hands, and only a miracle would propel them to qualification. The only hope for the German giants would now be to seal the third spot and qualify for Europa League.

Team News:

Pochettino’s comments ahead of the game suggested that he would take this opportunity to rotate and experiment ahead of crucial Christmas period in Premier League. Both Dele Alli and Harry Kane were taken off after the half in the Emirates stadium and are likely to undergo final fitness tests before the game.
The big boost for the Dortmund fans is the return of Aubameyang. Dortmund boss confirmed his return to the side after dropping him for partying against Stuttgart. The decision perhaps didn’t go in his side’s favour as they succumbed to a loss.
